Hello Mary-Lou thanks for visiting my pictures and your kind comments in my guest book. Yes I saw Elk, Coyote, Chipmunks, and the Black Bear. As you can imagine the bear was the most concern. He was right on the trail when we came up to him. Luckily we spotted him when we were about 50 yards away, we gave him plenty of time to move away and we made a lot of noise on the trail. Now to more important things, your wonderful Cap Blanc-Nez… album. As I was looking at the pictures it reminded me of when I was in the Air Force stationed in England and had the opportunity to see some to the ravages of war. I love the sunset pictures in this album and have to take on for my computer wallpaper. Take care Norm

Hi Mary-Lou, Your photos of the Nord Pas de Calais put me in deep thought about the wars that were fought there. I never fully realized how close the English coast really is.I am intense about history, especially the two great wars and the time frame between them. I realize others that have viewed this album talk of the beauty and that it is but my thoughts turned to the countless lives lost in foolishness and my prayers are with those who perished needlessly on both sides. may the Lord Bless and Keep them. Sincerely...Dennis

Groeten, Mieke

Hello Mary-lou, these are wonderfully scenic images. I am in awe of those cliffs, and also enjoyed the museum of flour. How fortunate you are to have been able to see such sights in person! Grüss Gott, Charlotte

Beautiful countryside, I would be hapy to spend some time there, running along the clifs, or down on the beaches, and hiking lightly ondulating hills. That would be nice. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for signing my book. Greetings, Ludvik from Slovenia.

Hello Mary-Lou and thanks for this experience, for me with a melancoly mood. Your picture story makes me think about the maddness of the war/wars. For me the shots were the Why....War.... and the answer is blowwing in the wind. Thanks for sharing this collection with this melancoly mood as an addition, but sometimes its really good to think about these things. A different trip I've used to do through Europe two times a year because always come to and go from Finland with my car through The Normandy-Normandie and Brittany-Bretagne. The trip is every time interesting especially with nice huitres and the fresh fish that's always available. Once had 55 of these oysters in two days and was in heaven. As you see I have nice memories although have to admit that when I usually on my trips go to these war memorial places like the one in Caen, there is this special feeling of gtatitude with me - and this why? Thanks anyway, its wisdom to think about these things. All the best now from Portugal Mary-Lou. Warm greetings, Antti; and thanks for your nice visits, have been really busy lately, and hopefully continuing to work for all of you - its always a plesure for me!
