You would never think that there is such beauty in a desert, but you have done a wonderful job showing us just how pretty it can be. the scenery pics are awesome. I love your flower album too! Gorgeous photos! I didn't know that lupine would grow in the desert southwest. I saw wonderful lupines in the Lake Superior area of Wisconsin, but it's very moist there. Perhaps it's the altitude in California? You have some lovely places to explore and photograph. Charlotte in El Paso, TX

Hi! What fantastic desert wildflower photos! The colors are spectacular. I'm afaid that whenever we were anywhere near the deserts of Californina it was just too hot to enjoy them. We always headed for the mountains & the high country. Where we would usually freeze! Got snowed on in Mammoth Lakes & also in Lassen Nat'l Park in July! Glad you enjoyed my Favorites album. I probably should put more into that one as so many places became favorites! Thanks again for sharing. Flo

My husband went to California for a congress, bought me a dgital camera in California, toured around with it (without me) and brought back these lovely photos! I have a new camera since a month... You have some very beautiful pictures of desert wildflowers. We have visited California's high country but not the desert. It seems we missed a great deal but still love the mountains more. There are gorgeous wildflowers there too. I have many albums here of our summer trips. Take a look sometime.
