THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Valtrex Does this bring back some memories. I had not thought of the Buffs in quite some time. I keep with the Astros daily. I am a native Houstonian retired and living in northeast Alabama.

thanks so much for the pictures. growing up in Houston in the 50's I spent many a great evening with my folks watching the Buffs (and the passenger trains coming/going from Union Station on the tracks beyond the CF fence).

THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH FOR BRINGING BACK THE MEMORIES OF HOW THE GAME SHOULD BE PLAYED. OUTDOORS. 1959 MY LITTLE LEAGUE TEAM WENT TO SEE A GAME. IT WAS LITTLE LEAGUE DAY AND IF YOU WORE YOUR UNIFORM YOU GOT IN FREE. WELL YOU KNOW HOW KIDS ARE. OF COURSE I TOOK MY GLOVE IN CASE A BALL FELL INTO IT. I WAS SO PROUD. ALL OF MY TEAM WAS THERE AND OUR COACHES. MY HEART WAS BROKEN WHEN THEY TOOK DOWN THE STADIUM AND MADE THE PROPERTY A FURNITURE STORE. BUT YOU KNOW I WENT INTO THAT FURNITURE STORE ONE DAY AND HOME PLATE STILL IS IN THIS STORE. WONDERFUL MEMORIES. THE CRACK OF A BAT, THE SMELL OF HOT DOGS, AND CHEERING FANS. TOTALLY AWESOME. THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE BUFFS ALIVE. I DO REMEMBER ALOT OF THE PLAYERS. KEN BOYER WAS MY FAVORITE OF ALL. THANKS AGAIN.

Please keep up the good work.

Hello Buff: I'd like to use your photo of Irish Larry Miggins in our Houston Irish Society Newsletter. He has been inducted into the Texas Basebalee hall of Fame. That's news. Is there any chance you could please send my the photo in jpg format directly to my dfokeefe@aol.com address. When I download the photograph and try to paste it as an image to my file in Publisher, it doesn't work. The photo comes out blurred. Thanks for any help. Sincerely, David O'Keefe dfokeefe@aol.com

Buff, I found your page today and had a great time in memory lane. I sold soda pop at Buff Stadium for every home game in 1950, 1951 and part of 52. Carried those big old metal buckets of iced pop up and dowdn the stadium every night until the 7th inning. Then I got to sit down and enjoy the rest of the game. I was a wide-eyed kid who got to meet most of the Texas League players of those days. I was also one of the original members (I think) of the Knot Hole Gang. Charles Green, Miami

Great album, Buff! Love those B&W's! You were lucky to get that Last Buff Roundup pic - that's a rare one, I'm sure. I think the Astros should wear shorts!!!
