I was in Diego Garcia in 2003-2004 in charge of erecting the 4 shelters for the stealth bombers. I don't know why but it was the most miserable year of my life and yet one of the happiest times of my life. I had 350 filipinos that worked under me and I miss each and everyone of them. What I did on that island is the greatest, most noble and most selfless thing I ever did in my life and I am proud of having served my country on this one small piece of heaven.
