WOW! Em! You are quite the artist! I didn't know this. :) BEAUTIFUL. I especially loved 'Ophelia' because of the 'romantics period'...'Pre-Raphaelite ' AND 'The pioneers' which reminded me of VanGoghs paintings of the coal- miners and everyday people. (VanGogh being one of my favorite artists.) Also Marilyn Munroe...very neat and nostalgic...just needs her blouse pulled up! HEE! HEE! Your body of work is varied and a lot of unique styles. Hello Em I do hope you don't think I painted the Gainsborough in the frame, or the other framed one. They are old lithograth prints by master artists. I just collect these type prints. My painting is actually an Elk. I do have other wildlife paintings scattered about in my family. I gave all my paintings away. Don't have even one in my house today. Its been ages since viewing your paintings Em, believe you may have added a few. #20 the Gainsboro painting, I have a very old (stamped) lithograph of a bust of that very same women in her great hat. It is still in it's original frame with it's wooden back and hand made nails. I too love Gainsboro.(Hope I'm spelling his name right?)Take care, Laura

Hello, Em from Aussie, I am following on the heels of my dear friend Kathy (katifelkai), whom I sent a Webshots card of your painting of Billabong, and who had been aware of your albums before, as I found out. First, thank you for your very nice comments in my two albums on California - I hope some day you get to travel along California's seashore and get to see its beauty first hand. Thanks to your comments, I discovered a treasure trove of beautiful albums I had not been aware of. I just visited a few of your albums so far and plan to return for more views and some downloads. Right now I concentrated on your lovely paintings and some flower albums. Your paintings are exquisite and show how multi-talented you are , painting such lovely landscapes, portraits and fantasy creations with the same ease and success. I have some of mine under 'francismi'- but am a total failure at portraits and fantasy or abstract creations. In this particular album, I am absolutely in love with your painting of your Billabong (like that name better than our 'Blue Heron' )- also like the apples (ready to bite into), and admire the detail you had to go into with your "Tallship&qu ot; - just to name a few. I see the trees of the billabong painting and see an almost Dali-esque lighting that looks like reality and a dreamstate. Em, you know you're pretty good at these paintings, I especially like the hibiscus painting or, pardon me, is it really a painting? In my little home town, a painter asked me once if the picture I was having framed was a painting, she asking me the painters' name. I told her it was a photograph and thanked the lady for commenting. This pix is within my Scenic Ocean album, called "Wave Curl at Seawall". My Dad ia an artist and i used to paint but the lifestyle changed and i ended up doing photography ..so I admire your talent. Loved the album. YOu have a wonderful talent and liked nearly all of your pieces. The calla lily painting is gorgeous as well as the Hibiscus just leaps out at you with loads of colour. Your Orphelia looks so tragic, and the colour so perfect for the mood. But my all time favourite is the SWAGMAN just love everything about that picture and has so much character! Swaggy is pretty good too but wow the swagman just blows me away. Well done and thanks for sharing your many gifts. What a pleasure to thumb through your albums.

Gidday Em,from Qld...This is Gypsy from the oppisite coast, I never get into discussions about which state is THE most beautiful,I have spent time in every state and Territory [Cept Tassie...Yet...] and each has it's own 'uniquness' and beauty beyond compare...
