    • I was in Hanau back in 1966-1967 at Hutier Kasern but don't recall any of those pictures shown. Maybe I didn't travel around the area much. Most of my time was spent at Pigalle!! Lool

    • I was stationed at Hutier Kaserne from Jan. 1971 to January 1972. My friends and I spent many a weekend in Heidelberg and Weinheim. We used to sleep in the castle in a tunnel that ran across an arch way that ran into a courtyard. We spent quite a few evenings at the bowling alley in Hanau playing foosball. We ventured into Frankfurt often as well to go to the Crazy sexy and the Zoom.

    • I was stationed on Pioneer Kaserne from '76 to '79 with 81st Maint. Co. I worked on Grossauheim. I lived with a German family in Hanau just off of Lamboy Strasse (ever hear of Lamboy Annie?). There was a legend about the Grimm brothers statue, that at midnight on New Year's Eve, the brothers changed places, so the one that had been sitting down had to stand up for a year. I had a great time and really loved the town and the people. Everything was very clean and very organized.

    • I was stationed at Pioneer Kaserne 76-78 with the 88th. Maint. Co. I was in food service and worked at the base dining hall.Usually, I was found with the MP's and Hanau Rod & Gun Club. Miss Germany and those who served with me very much. I have met one person years ago who was stationed at Pioneer, and there is one man in town here who rememberd me from Pioneer Kaserne from those days. Richard C. Harper

    • I lived all my life (other than the last 10 years) in Hanau and I am looking for two of my friends that moved to the States. Nancy Miller was last seen at Fort Hood Texas and Denita Avery was last seen in Virgina (forgot the name of the base). They were my best friends in high school and I lost contact with them. Please contact Patriciagoff_298@hotmail. com if you have any information on them.
